IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS OF THE MEN WHO SERVED IN THE 544th EBSR
A friend of mine Ralph Denglinger, whose father was in the 433rd EBSR 3rd ESB is the web master of his site. Ralph has been a great help to me for the 544th EBSR Regiment.
The first project, which started over two years ago was the 544th EBSR Roster. Ralph and his wife typed in all the names we found to date and updates as needed.
In 2010 Ralph went to the archives in Washington DC in search of his 433rd EBSR history and our 544th EBSR history, as well. Ralph brought back to me over a hundred pages of documented history of the 544th EBSR Regiment. The first fifty pages contain the formation of the 544th in February, 1943 at camp Edwards, Massachusetts to the disbanding of the regiment in Japan n March 1946.
Ralph and I discussed how we could put this history on a Web Site, so that people who want better insight of the 544th could be made available to you.
